Our Team
Meet the Experts Behind Hallmark Homes
Incorporated in 1993, Hallmark Homes is family-run and -operated by owners Rob and Julie Sherman, who believed that through modular construction they could provide customers with a superior quality home. For more than three decades we have been using modular efficiencies to deliver value and quality construction advantages to our customers.

President / Owner
Rob Sherman
Rob is the foundation of Hallmark Homes. The company’s success and quality-first approach to construction starts and ends with Rob. His day-to-day responsibilities as Hallmark Homes’ general contractor provide him the unique opportunity to oversee all phases of a project and to ensure the new home meets his high standards for quality.
Our reputation as Maine’s finest modular home builder stems from Rob’s constant pursuit of excellence. Rob has participated on the Boards of both the Modular Home Builders Association of Maine (MHBA) and the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Maine (HBRA). He has also served as the Modular Home Builders Association National Director for the HBRA, and he has been a long-term member of the volunteer ski patrol at Sugarloaf Mountain.

Treasurer / Owner
Julie Sherman
Hallmark Homes is fortunate to have the financial stewardship that Julie provides. With an advanced degree in finance, she works behind the scenes to ensure Hallmark Homes’ financial stability stays positive. She helps the company navigate the financial landscape, by managing such tasks as tax compliance, preserving commercial credit, and spearheading capital projects. Julie has also been an integral source of inspiration for many of Hallmark Homes’ decorated show models.
In her free time, Julie loves traveling, knitting, skiing, and gardening. She also considers herself a late-blooming sports fan, particularly of the Patriots and Red Sox.

Sales Manager
Nick Sherman
Since joining the company in 1999, Nick has found deep personal satisfaction in seeing happy customers move into their new Hallmark-built homes. Nick has helped increase customer satisfaction by implementing systems to ensure consistency throughout the company, from communications to pricing to construction. His excellent project management skills ensure each project has a smooth building process from start to finish.
Nick served on the Board of the Modular Home Builders Association of Maine (MHBA) for more than ten years, including time spent as the President of the organization. Outside of work, he enjoys riding his bicycle around Brunswick and devouring the best Thai food in Maine, freshly prepared by his lovely wife, Rattana. In addition to meeting Nick on your visit to our model home center, you are also likely to make the acquaintance of Sanook, his spirited (but friendly!) Golden Doodle.

Office Manager
Lisa Carter
Without a doubt, Lisa is the glue that holds Hallmark Homes together. Her attention to detail and ability to retrieve information has made her a tremendous asset to the company. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, human resources, completing various loan paperwork, greeting customers, and answering phone calls.
When she is not feeding treats to Rob’s dog, Lexie, she is likely spoiling her own dogs at home. Lisa also enjoys short motorcycle rides with her husband, Brad, and can often be found soaking up the summer sun with her family at their cottage on the Harpswell peninsula.
